Shahnameh, the eternal masterpiece by Ferdowsi narrates the mythical history of Iran. The root of Shahnameh’s stories can be traced back to the Avesta and other ancient texts.

Alefba Group’s Heritage Committee began the fourth series of its Shahnameh Classes on online basis (via Instagram and Youtube); The classes took place place in 7 sessions, every other Saturday (start from October 19, 2024) from 9 to 11 AM (PDT). The language of the class was Persian.

The classes were instructed by Mr. Afshin Sepehri, a researcher on the Shahnameh and the producer of the audiobook series, The Stories of Shahnameh in Persian and English, and the children’s book series, The Stories of Shahnameh. He recited the beautiful poems of Shahnameh and narrated the stories and discussed their roots in this class.

Attendance in this class was free and open to the public.
