Alefba’s storytelling events are our “Persian” take of the popular storytelling events of the Moth or Fresh Ground stories. Alefba and non-Alefba members come together at these events to share their memories around each show’s topics. Alefba also holds storytelling workshops prior to each show to help the tellers work on their stories in a smaller group with Kankosh board members. Storytelling shows are held the first Thursday of every month and typically feature 5-6 stories which each take roughly 3-6 minutes.
