On June 22nd, Alefba Group was present at the 13th Seattle Iranian Festival, organized by Iranian American Community Alliance, IACA, in Seattle Center.
At the Alefba table, we introduced our organization to the visitors and announced our upcoming programs. We signed up many of the visitors to receive Alefba’s newsletter. We had the chance to meet with people who were already familiar with Alefba and were following our activities.
Aligned with the theme of the festival which was food, Chanshni had its own table to serve the visitors with homemade sweets and desserts.
Seattle Iranian Choir opened the program by singing “Ey Iran” after the American national anthem. They performed three more songs, a tribute to Bijan Taraghi who wrote the lyrics of all three songs. The choir ended their performance by singing “Vatanam”. Payam Khastkhodaei and Taraneh Ashari played Piano and Daf along with the group.

سازمان الفبا در تاریخ 22 ژوئن، در سیزدهمین جشنواره ایرانیان سیاتل که توسط سازمان Iranian American Community Alliance، IACA، در مرکز سیاتل برگزار شد حضور پیدا کرد.
همکاران در میز الفبا، فعالیت‌های سازمان و برنامه‌های پیش رو را به بازدیدکنندگان معرفی کردند و از افراد برای دریافت خبرنامه الفبا ثبت نام نمودند. ملاقات با عزیزانی که با الفبا آشنایی داشتند و فعالیت‌های آن را دنبال می‌کردند، باعث دلگرمی ما شد.
در میز دیگری، گروه چاشنی، هم‌راستا با موضوع غذا که محور اصلی جشنواره امسال بود، در کنار معرفی فعالیت‌های خود، از بازدیدکنندگان با شیرینی و دسر پذیرایی کرد.
گروه کر ایرانی، با اجرای سرود ای ایران که بعد از سرود ملی آمریکا پخش شد، آغاز کننده برنامه‌های جشنواره بود. این گروه چهار آهنگ دیگر را در ادامه اجرا کرد: ابتدا ترانه بهار دلنشین، برگ خزان، و شهزاده رویا. ترانه‌سرای همه این آهنگ‌ها آقای بیژن ترقی بودند و اجراها به ایشان تقدیم شد. گروه کر با اجرای سرود وطنم به کار خود خاتمه داد. در این اجراها، پیام خواست‌خدایی نوازنده پیانو و ترانه اشعری نوازنده دف گروه را همراهی می کردند.
رادیو ایرانشهر، ویدیوهایی از این برنامه به صورت زنده در صفحه فیسبوک رادیو ایرانشهر منتشر نمود وگزارش کاملی از جشنواره را در روز بعد در برنامه خود منتشر کرد. این گزارش را می‌توانید از اینجا بشنوید.
