During the Corona virus pandemic period, Seattle Iranian Choir decided to record a video of its virtual performance in which each choir member recorded audio and video at home (following the physical distancing recommendation!) and all the audio and video footages were mixed into the final production. The main goal of this performance was to give hope to the community with the message that “The Moment of Reunion is Near”! This is knowing the fact that we all need to follow the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” recommendation by the state officials while believing that this period is going to be over and we are going to meet each other soon.
This video was dedicated to all the healthcare workers who are in the frontline of fighting the Corona virus.
The music of this song was composed by Afshin Sepehri, on a poem by contemporary Iranian poet, Mehdi Akhavan Saless. Payam Khastkhodaei played the piano part of the piece.

گروه کر ایرانی سیاتل در دوران قرنطینه به واسطه ویروس کرونا، ویدیویی از یک اجرای مجازی تولید نمود که در آن هر یک از اعضا صدا و تصویر خود را هنگام اجرای موسیقی ضبط نموده و نتیجه نهایی کار از ترکیب تمام این قطعات ساخته شد. پیام این اجرا که بر پایه شعری از مهدی اخوان ثالث، شاعر معاصر بود چنین است: «لحظه دیدار نزدیک است.» این پیام به این معناست که هر چند ما بر پایه توصیه مقامات ایالتی، دوری‌گزینی فیزیکی از یکدیگر را تجربه می‌کنیم اما بر این باور هستیم که این دوران گذراست و ما به زودی به دیدار یکدیگر خواهیم رسید.
