Two of Alefba Group volunteers joined our honored Chashni member in monthly program of dinner for Seattle’s homeless on Monday, August 24th. It should be noted that according to the Operation Nightwatch kitchen in order to observe safety during the epidemic of covid-19 disease, a very limited number of cooks are allowed to enter the kitchen, which increases the workload and speed of each person.
An adolescent member of the Alefba Group attended a three-person gathering this month to cook and distribute food. We thank our volunteers and especially admire our younger one’s motivation and their care for the unprivileged community.
This activity takes place on the fourth Monday of each month in which so far many dear Iranian and non-Iranian volunteers have participated. داوطلبین الفبا دوشادوش یکی از اعضای مهم چاشنی برنامه ماهیانه تهیه شام برای بی‌خانمان‌های سیاتل را در روز دوشنبه ۲۴ آگوست انجام دادند. لازم به ذکر است که طبق دستور آشپزخانه Operation Nightwatch جهت رعایت ایمنی در دوران همه‌گیری بیماری کوید-۱۹ تعداد بسیار محدودی از افراد اجازه ورود به آشپزخانه را دارند که باعث می‌شود برحجم و سرعت کارهر نفراضافه شود. با این وجود در جمع تنها سه نفره این ماه یکی از نوجوانان عضو گروه الفبا هم برای کمک در آشپزی و‌توزیع غذا حضور داشت. این حس کمک و نوع‌دوستی در نوجوانان الفبا را تحسین می‌کنیم و از همه داوطلبین کمال تشکر را داریم.
