According to the Bylaws, the Board of Directors of Alefba Group consists of a president and a group of directors who each represents one of the permanent committees of Alefba. The president is elected by the membership at the annual meeting and each committee representative who is also the chair person of the leadership team of that committee, is elected by the committee members.
On the first annual meeting of Alefba, members elected Mr. Afshin Sepehri as the President of Alefba for two years. Also, each of the three permanent committees of Alefba elected its chair at the first meeting following the organization’s annual meeting. As a result, the following individuals were elected to serve on the board for one year:
- Ms. Mahshid Yar Mohammadi: Radio Iranshahr
- Ms. Aidin Behroozi: Kankosh Discussion Group
- Mr. Cyrus Khubcher: Seattle Iranian Choir
At the first meeting of the Board of Directors, the officers of Alefba were elected from among the directors as listed below:
- Ms. Mahshid Yar Mohammadi: Vice President
- Ms. Aidin Behroozi: Secretary
- Mr. Cyrus Khubcher: Treasurer
بر پایه اساسنامه سازمان، هیئت مدیره الفبا شامل یک رئیس و تعدادی عضو است که هر کدام، رابط یکی از کمیته‌های دائمی الفبا هستند. رئیس سازمان توسط رای اعضا در جلسه عمومی سالیانه انتخاب می‌شود و رابطها که ریاست گروه رهبری کمیته‌ها را نیز بر عهده دارند توسط اعضای کمیته‌های مربوطه در نخستین جلسه پس از مجمع سالیانه انتخاب می‌شوند.
بر این اساس، اعضای الفبا در مجمع عمومی آقای افشین سپهری را به عنوان رئیس سازمان برگزیدند و سایر اعضای هیئت‌مدیره توسط كميته ها به مدت یکسال به شرح زیر انتخاب شدند:
- خانم مهشید یارمحمدی: رادیو ایرانشهر
- خانم آیدین بهروزی: کنکاش
- آقای سیروس خوبچهر: گروه کر ایرانی سیاتل
در نخستین جلسه هیئت‌مدیره، اشخاص زیر برای سمتهای مختلف برگزیده شدند:
- خانم مهشید یارمحمدی: نایب رئیس
- خانم آیدین بهروزی: منشی
- آقای سیروس خوبچهر: خزانه‌دار
