The Youth Committee of Alefba presents an online event to help high school students learn more about the field of Economics. Economics analyzes human decision-making and resource allocation which has applications in a wide array of professional settings. Professor Erin Vernon will present an overview of the field and the wide range of career and educational opportunities. Dr. Vernon is an Associate Professor of Economics at Seattle University where she teaches in the undergraduate, Honors, MBA, and Executive MBA programs. Her area of research and specialization is health economics.

This program will be in English and we encourage high school students and their families to attend.
