Shahnameh, the eternal masterpiece by Ferdowsi narrates the mythical history of Iran. The root of Shahnameh’s stories can be traced back to the Avesta and other ancient texts.

Alefba Group began the third series of its Shahnameh Classes on a hybrid basis (both online via Zoom and in-person at the Pardis Center); these classes were in collaboration with the Seattle Shahnameh Study Group. The language of the class was Persian. The classes instructed by Mr. Afshin Sepehri, a researcher on the Shahnameh and the producer of the audiobook series, The Stories of Shahnameh in Persian and English, and the children’s book series, The Stories of Shahnameh. He will recite the beautiful poems of Shahnameh and narrate the stories and discuss their roots in this class.
