Shahnameh, the eternal masterpiece by Ferdowsi narrates the mythical history of Iran. The root of Shahnameh stories can be traced back in the Avesta and other ancient texts.
The Heritage committee of Alefba Group in cooperation with Seattle Shahnameh Study Group offers the second series of online classes on the mythical section of the Shahnameh. Afshin Sepehri, a researcher on the Shahnameh and the producer of the audio book series, The Stories of Shahnameh in Persian and English, will be the instructor of this class. He will recite the beautiful poems of Shahnameh and narrate the stories and discuss their roots in this class.
This class is offered in 7 sessions from October 6 to December 29, 2021 and takes place on every other Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, PDT. The language of the class will be Persian.

شاهنامه اثر جاویدان فردوسی بزرگ روایتگر تاریخ اسطوره‌ای سرزمین ایران است. ریشه‌های داستان‌های شاهنامه را می‌توان در کهن‌ترین متن‌های ایرانی از جمله اوستا و نیز سایر متون باستانی پیدا کرد.
کمیته میراث سازمان الفبا با همکاری گروه مطالعه شاهنامه سیاتل دوره دوم نشست‌های آنلاین آشنایی با دوره اسطوره‌ای شاهنامه را برگزار می‌نماید. در این دوره، مدرس کلاس آقای افشین سپهری، پژوهشگر شاهنامه و ناشر مجموعه کتابهای گویای شاهنامه مروری بر داستان‌های شاهنامه (از فریدون تا کیقباد) خواهد نمود و علاوه بر خواندن اشعار زیبای فردوسی و شرح داستان‌ها، به ریشه‌های هر یک از این داستان‌ها اشاره خواهد نمود.
زمان کلاسها چهارشنبه‌ها (یک هفته در میان) از ساعت ۷:۳۰ تا ۹:۰۰ شب به وقت غرب آمریکا خواهد بود. کلاسها در ۷ جلسه از ۶ اکتبر تا ۲۹ دسامبر ۲۰۲۱ برگزار خواهند شد. کلاسها به زبان فارسی خواهند بود.
شرکت در این کلاسها برای عموم از هر نقطه جهان رایگان و آزاد است اما شرکت‌کنندگان نیاز به ثبت‌نام از طریق فرم زیر دارند. لینک جلسات به کسانی که ثبت‌نام نمايند ارسال خواهد شد.
