Alefba Group, an Iranian social and cultural non-profit organization in the State of Washington state is hiring a Program Coordinator to help with its initiatives related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Program Coordinator will be an individual contributor who performs various tasks related to the COVID-19 projects including material translation and compilation, meeting planning and coordination, compiling reports of the meetings, and providing materials for the final report at the end of the project.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the weekly meetings and document a report for each meeting and follow up
  • Manage online sessions via Zoom and Google Meet
  • Translate documents from English to Persian
  • Audio program recording and video mixing (Training will be provided.)
  • Track team goals and project schedules
  • Coordinate with all the committees to keep the project on track
  • Collect information required to achieve the goals of the project
  • Report the progress of the project to the project manager on a regular basis
  • Communicate project related information among various groups and individuals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in both Persian and English
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be well versed with the Alefba Group’s vision and mission
  • Be a fast learner in using online tools and applications

The job is a 10 hour-per-week position. The pay is $22.50 per hour plus a performance-based bonus, up to 10%. The job is an independent contractor position with no other benefits. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of 5 hours presence at Alefba’s office in Pardis Cultural Center.
