Part-Time Program Coordinator

Alefba Group, an Iranian cultural and social non-profit organization, is looking for a highly motivated person with good communication skills for a part-time Program Coordinator position. The tasks include coordinating the agenda and the speakers for some of our educational events, posting news about upcoming and past events, promoting Alefba programs, and outreach to increase the attendance. The focus will be on our upcoming virtual health literacy series. The coordinator will also conduct surveys and interviews and collect feedback from the community, with the goal of improving the quality and reach of future programs.

The candidate is expected to be fluent in reading, writing and speaking in both Persian and English, have good communication skills, be well versed with the Alefba Group’s vision and mission, and be a fast learner in using online tools and applications.

The job starts as a 5 hour-per-week position (1-year limited duration) with the possibility of gradually increasing up to 20 hours a week, and extending further after the first year. The pay is $20 per hour plus a performance based bonus, up to 20%. The job is an independent contract position with no other benefits. This is a remote position with the possibility of occasional commute for job-related site visits.
